Deacon 770 Liquid or Paste Sealants are thermal-reactive, sealing compounds for threads, gasket dressings and metal-to-metal applications. Ideal for high-temperature (200ºF to 950ºF / 93°C to 510°C), high-pressure steams, liquors, hydrocarbons and solvents. Deacon 770 expands in the presence of heat to form a mechanical-type seal and will not interfere with future repairs of metal-to-metal joints.

seal before full cure, allowing for fast and easy repairs.
High-pressure, temperature and chemical tolerances (Solvents, Oils,
Steam, Liquors, Hydrocarbons). Creates a mechanical seal with high
wear resistance. As a gasket dressing: Deacon 770 improves the
sealing capability of standard die cut gaskets. Unaffected by
thermal cycling. Seal joints in multi-piece gaskets.
