Style #6000 - Graph-A-Braid is a versatile braided flexible graphite packing ideal for pumps and valves in hydrocarbon, chemical processing, pulp and paper, power generation, and various other industrial applications. This thermo-conductive packing replaces flexible graphite ribbon and is constructed from pure expanded graphite. It is resilient, self-lubricating, and chemically inert. Featuring an interlock braid design, it operates effectively at temperatures up to 1200°F (650°C) in steam and 850°F (455°C) in atmospheric conditions. With a pH range of 0-14 (exceptions: fuming nitric acid, aqua regia, oleum, and strong oxidizers), it supports speeds up to 4000 F.P.M. and pressures up to 3000 PSI (200 Bar), with anti-extrusion rings recommended for high-pressure applications.
