Style #1940 - Graphite Filament packing is designed for severe service applications where leakage must be held to a bare minimum. It offers excellent chemical resistance and is constructed from graphite filament impregnated with a graphite dispersion. Featuring an interlock braid design, this packing is suitable for temperatures up to 850°F (Atmosphere) and 1200°F (Steam), shaft speeds up to 4000 R.P.M., pump pressures up to 500 PSI (35 Bar), and valve pressures up to 2500 PSI (170 Bar). It operates effectively across a pH range of 0-14.
