Style #1922 - Flax, Tallow Lube & Graphite

Style #1922 - Flax, Tallow Lube & Graphite packing is designed for use with cold water, brine, and cold oils on both reciprocating and rotary rods, as well as pump plungers. It is also suitable for rams of hydraulic equipment and stern tube glands of ships. Made with medium long line flax fiber, this packing is treated with a petroleum-based lubricant and surface graphited for enhanced performance. Featuring a square braid construction, it is effective at temperatures up to 220°F (104°C), shaft speeds up to 1200 R.P.M., pressures up to 150 PSI (10 Bar), and a pH range of 5-9.
