Style #1345 - Flax-PTFE, Impregnated packing is designed for marine tail shaft liners and rudder posts, making it a premier choice for marine service. Constructed with flax fibers and lubricated with PTFE dispersion, this packing offers low friction and high tensile strength. It is excellent for water service and paper mill applications. Made with flax yarns of a special type and total PTFE impregnation throughout, this packing features a Square Plait Braid construction. It performs reliably at temperatures up to 250°F (120°C), speeds up to 1500 R.P.M., pressures up to 200 PSI (15 Bar), and a pH range of 4-9.
