STYLE #1400-540 GENERAL PURPOSE GASKET PAPER - A non-asbestos homogeneous gasket material produced by the beater-addition process. This material is manufactured with a blend of nitrile latex and fibrous reinforcing materials. A high-density material with good fluid resistance and dimensional stability and flexibility. Suitable for higher-temperature applications - always test first! Actual temperature performance can vary according to many factors.
Commonly used for general purpose automotive and small motor gaskets.
